
Course Objectives:
This course will explore the theory, design and analysis of computer communications
systems. The emphasis of the course will be the design elements that make up
present-day enterprise scale networks.
Topics
A detailed study of the various software engineering topics, these include:
- Object Oriented Design using UML
- Software Project Estimation Techniques
- Distributed System Architectures with CORBA, RMI and J2EE
- User Interface Design
- Automated Software Testing
- Configuration Mangement
- Model Driven Architecture
